London-Based Lunacre Display Polar Range with New Two-Track Release,
Red Sky / Whimsy Indigo Lobo

An eloquent balance in their ability to formulate and exhibit a spectrum of raw emotion through their music, London-based band, Lunacre are quickly emerging as a premiere set of songwriting specialists en route to Pearl Tabloid– an EP expected later in this calendar. When we last caught up with the quartet, Love Being Lost had introduced us to their smooth, retro-reminiscent aesthetic. Now, with a two-track release Red Sky / Whimsy Indigo Lobo, Lunacre are displaying a further development of a wider sonic angle.
The two tracks in themselves, in consistent form to the current A-side / B-side trend, provide a juxtaposed view towards polar ends to the band’s abilities. Red Sky begins more expectedly upbeat, instrumental, and texturally adjacent to the early-2000’s indie bend which starred bands like The Shins, Right Ahead Great Captain, and Band of Horses. Whimsy Indigo Lobo is a darker fidelity showing from a group that has at times – most prevalent in their Decoded Magazine performance – proven themselves a vibe production force.
In harmony, the A-side / B-side is a genius display of Lunacre’s range and a much-welcomed pair of tracks leading up to their anticipated Pearl Tabloid.
