We were first drawn to Emerson Leif by way of Hesitate, his collaboration with fellow Australian wunderkind, Golden Vessel. Twenty2 is one of the more unique undertakings we’ve heard in a long time. It’s an emotionally-evoking blend of his vast vocal range and vibrant production that comes together in a styling à la Frank Ocean meets the understated mellowness of Lossapardo.
