Providing an intriguing ride over the course of the last year from the release of his project, Pearl to a subsequent train of singles DAVID, Scuba, BLEU, & I Rhymed King with King, Dave B has given us more music at a more innovative and higher quality than just about anyone else. The Seattle multi-dimensionalist who splits his time cleanly laying vocals, smoothly stacking rhymes, and transcending the space between the two schools, is a prime example of a modern artist’s ability to be more than meets the eye. And as if his raw talent wasn’t already looking enough, now he’s PRETTY. 

 

Another example of what makes Dave B so dynamic in his placement on the scale from crooning R&B to hard lyricism, PRETTY is a phase-changing bout on both ends of his stylistic spectrum finding middle ground in perfectly cooked confidence and low-key production. And just like everything to come before it, we love it.
