Bobby Earth is Anything but Finished with All Done
Evan Dale // Mar 3, 2019
"'All Done' is an extended metaphor comparing a romantic love to ritualistic medication via special plants (aka Mary Jane). The music itself reminds me of old-school arcade games, hence the 8-bit drawing of me. In any case, whether you partake or not, I hope you enjoy this playful love song. However if you do partake, roll one before listening. Thanks!"
Hard to say it any better than the man, the myth the majestic stoner poet himself, Bobby Earth. Few today are doing what he’s doing – inventing a sound all his own from a pure point in the soul. His sound in particularly is a floaty, effervescent take on electro-R&B that finds its most unique strength somewhere between his lyricism and his impossibly well-balanced and wide-ranging vocalism. Like the modernized, digital Marvin Gaye, his music – led by his biggest hit to date, Mood – is consistent in its love, its sex, and its funky undeniability.
All Done is the most recent walk down that road and we love it.
