Still Woozy is Making a Habit of Being Music's Most Unique Mind
Evan Dale // Dec 21, 2018
Through all the indisputable kings of the mellow pop movement, Still Woozy reigns supreme for blinding individuality. A master of the momentum shift and a conductor of straight-shooting cool, each and any development his tracks have spurred have become instrumental keynotes to the young musical realm’s foundation. Only a handful of tracks earmarked by his signature muted guitar, fast-paced drum kit, and impossible-to-replicate wavering vocal delivery that in itself has become one of the most unmistakable in music have graced our ears from the beginning of his young career.
Habit, his sixth career single release and second this year behind the springtime’s positivist anthem, Lucy, is another track fitting of the seasons. A tad more mellow, but every bit as romantically inclined, Habit is a bold exhibition of his one-of-a-kind musicality. It’s hard to really describe it in any manner that would suffice, but a certain charm à la Dave Bayley (Glass Animals) graces its chorus and draw us to the repeat icon.
It’s hard to know too much about the young artist, but we’re incredibly excited for whatever is to come.
