The young lyricist has always rapped like the world was coming to an end, but his newest single and video takes the saying more literally than ever before. With unnervingly ominous production by way of experimental genius, Sango and an energy darker than what we’ve come to expect, Jay Prince and BEAMLIGHT find a meditative pace and a head-bobbingly addicting chorus to start 2019 off on a challenging, necessary note. 

 

Coupled with a set of black & white visuals that feature an unending barrage of apocalyptic meteors, BEAMLIGHT takes form as a particularly dark, but successfully intense and artistically bold banger to get the nihilist in all of us out for a drink and a night of long contemplation.
