Alexandra Soulfire is a Reincarnation of What we Love about 90's R&B with Reclaim My Love

That Alexandra Soulfire’s Reclaim My Love was not released in 1996 is only obvious in its perfected modern production split equally between her and Brad Kemp. Vocally, lyrically, and stylistically, the multidimensional soulstress fond of folding golden-era reminiscent vocals into her knack for consciously laying down a foundation of powerful lyricism is a force to be reckoned with that brings to mind thoughts of TLC and an early Destiny’s Child.

But there’s only one Alexandra Soulfire.

Sometimes, she hits soulful high notes; sometimes she explodes in jazzy intonations; at others she buckles down and plows through rhythm and rhymes with the best of them, quietly releasing a project exhibiting the limitless reach of the small effort team in modern music.

Reclaim My Love runs about half-an-hour and achieves its respectful disposition through its brash lyrical honesty, its emotionally downtrodden relatability, and its retro-futuristic inventiveness. It’s mellow, emotionally evoking, and oh-so tried and true by the standards of R&B and hip-hop’s most celebrated eras. The now could us a little then, so for times of nostalgia, emotion, and just good music, tune in to Alexandra Soulfire and Reclaim My Love.
