UK neo-soul architect, Aaron Taylor is here with his first single since last summer’s project, The Long Way HomeA Fool for You is a gentle, heartwarming love song, the sincerity of which is difficult to find anywhere else in music. And that sincerity is owed a lot to Taylor’s direction as an instrumentalist, a wide-ranging, uniquely explosive vocalist, and a genial composer of layered and meaningful music from start to finish.  Though just under four minutes, the track boasts several differing identities, all of which exhibit something individual and exciting about Taylor’s approach to his sound and what he’s bringing to British neo-soul at a large scale.

An emotionally-stirring yet calm and bubbly opening displays at least a trio of vocal deliveries with which Aaron Taylor isn’t only capable, but masterful. A uniquely welcoming composition of playful synthesizers and cinematographic strings lead back into a smiley chorus. An up-tempo and high-energy breakdown sets the stage for Aaron Taylor to show off his absurd falsetto. A low-key and mellow harmony displays his collaborative talent. And it all leads back to the heartwarming chorus again.

A Fool for You is the perfect Springtime neo-soul ballad to which to kick back in a park, crack a bottle of rose, and fall relentlessly in love.
