Moise is an interesting artist from St. Paul, Minnesota whose sonic texture is some sort of wood paneling aesthetic à la James Mercer. A calming sense of analog antiquity comes to blend with modern mellow pop influence for his final product so blatantly unique and timeless that it’s a sure bet his future is bright.
That imminent reach is only further secured by releases like A Thousand Miles. His most recent track is a lovely, well-balanced springtime melody that exhibits each key note of his particular skillset – wide-ranging vocals, an affinity for dreamy MGMT-influenced guitar play, and creatively vivid lyricism.
