Recently, I find myself abandoning hip-hop in favor of something a little more in balance with my day-to-day life. As much as I love hip-hop, the truth of the matter is that most of my days are not worthy of the high-energy, aggressive delivery that tends to come with it, and sometimes I need something more mellow and chill. In these times, I turn to a selection of acoustic artists and electronic standbys. One of my recent favorites has been Denver, Colorado producer, Lane 8. If you’re just becoming familiar with the artist, now is a great time to become acquainted. He has been on an absolute roll lately with a smattering of singles released over the past year or so, and has already released a sizeable collection of music in a young 2018, including an original cut and reprise of the bubbly jam, Coming Back to You, as well as a more emotional and soulful Stir Me Up, released just a few days ago.
