With Spring and its immediate promise of Summer comes Tame Impala’s psychedelic warm-weather anthem, Patience. The first release since his acclaimed and Grammy-nominated 2015 album, Currents, his incredibly vast, global, and dedicated fan base could not ask for anything more with which to whisk away the seasonal depression. Built upon a bouncy key riff and a vibrant explosion of intermittent high and low synths, Patience is a sign that Tame Impala is picking up right where he left off, delivering experimental, funky dream pop with the power to part the clouds. 

 

Hopefully, the wait is over, and Patience is a sign that our collective patience has delivered us to the next chapter in the Tame Impala story.
