Everyone’s favorite merger of analogue drum foundations and floaty, synth-strewn explosions, Slow Magic has released an A-Side / B-Side delivery of originals for the first time since 2018’s 4-track EP, AWAY. Welcoming to the season and aptly named, Dreams Pt. 1 is a juxtaposing yet complimentary pair of warm-weather dreamwave tracks. Signature to his long-established lane but never lacking in vibrant experimentalism, Slow Magic still has what has made him such a unique influence on the electronic scene since his 2012 debut album Triangle – with Feels and Corvette Cassette at the helm – first introduced him to the world. 

 

Warmth, innocence, and unending creative risks taken drive the greater direction of Dreams Pt. 1, setting the stage for a greater Dreams project to introduce a bubblier aesthetic and more dominant vocal expression upon his sound. Stay tuned.
