SiR & Boogie Join Forces for Laid-Back Smoking Anthem, 'Rapper Weed'
Evan Dale // April 23, 2020
There couldn’t be a duo more suited for a laid-back weed-smoking anthem than SiR and Boogie. As part of the overarching TDE decision to release a new single every day this week, R&B’s Inglewood lovechild teams up with the South-Central Shady Records rapper for an inescapably West Coast release, Rapper Weed. Spurred by the always soft, emotive delivery of SiR himself, both artists grant signature verses over a mellow beat, coalescing as a display on the talent of two of California’s most underrated powerhouse musicians. True to both SiR and Boogie who never seem to go without a touch of delicate poignancy, Rapper Weed is as thought-provoking and emotionally rooted as it is a downright necessary collaboration for two artists that have long been cornerstones to the future of their transcendent stylistic explorations.
