The Nigerian singer and songwriter, akin to many modern artists from West African, is enjoying being part of a cultural renaissance boasting influence over much of the world’s biggest lanes. And in accordance, summoning the likes of the Gonna Love Me star was a naturally fluid step. 

 

Together, the two take what was an already danceable late night burner, and add even further romantic discourse and fun-loving vibes. Like so much to come from Teyana Taylor and the West African sphere of pop-adjacent summer anthems, Gimme Love will work its way into the charts in the same manner that it’s already worked its way into global influence and collaboration.
