London's ONUR Returns with Poppy Electro-R&B Joint, Beautiful Time

It’s a difficult thing to try and delineate the myriad of sonic textures that London’s ONUR brings to his music. Like an R&B-nuanced Chet Faker or a more electronically pop Kyle Dion, ONUR’s sound is broad, different, and edging on indefinable altogether. When we last touched base with his music, it was to dissect the emotional, heartfelt, yet lusty I Don’t Know Why I Fall In Love. Driven by a Spanish guitar, electronic influence, and his signature falsetto, ONUR delivered a proper love song for a new age.

And with his latest single, Beautiful Time, he’s doing the same in a different way. The falsetto is ever-present, and the electronic production has been turned up a notch or two, but the track is altogether more grand, well-rounded, and poppy than its prior. And it does so while still being able to experiment wildly, particularly with the production breakdown at the track’s center. Bookmarked by heart melting falsetto tears, ONUR shows himself a ridiculously wide-ranging and experimentally adept artist who makes us wish and reminiscence on the early 2010’s electronic boom that perfectly harmonized new wave production with crystalline vocals.

Keep a lookout for more very soon as Beautiful Time comes as his third single release in two weeks, and DAME, his new project, is expected soon.
