From the title to the flow to the not so subtle mentions of slime and this side, London’s strongest rising star, Kojey Radical delivers Proud Of You: a timely, uplifting, genre-bending anthem à la styling – at least in part – of Young Thug, EARTHGANG, and Atlanta hip-hop at large. Like most things Kojey does creatively, Proud Of You is a change of pace, still founded in positive messages and growth, but also built on a musical lane that has been for him unexplored to this point. To no one’s surprise, as the musical savant that Kojey is, he kills it, and Proud Of You emerges as an addition to his rap-heavy collection of tracks, always aiming to utilize his poetic verse and inventive musical roots to further the hip-hop creative sphere.
