Kojey Radical is Well Above his Years with new Single, 25
Evan Dale // Jan 30, 2019
Kojey Radical, the London workhorse, is back at it again. With what seems like a constant flow of creative projects emerging from the depths of his artistry, Kojey has quickly and premeditatively made himself an explosive figure across music, fashion, and videography. Over the last year, he’s been everywhere, placing as much focus into his collaborative efforts with other talented UK youth as he has into his only solo career. And again today, he takes another step forward toward what we can only assume as an incoming album, but what is definitely at a larger scale, the beginnings of the Kojey Radical era.
25 is an expected aesthetic shift from an artist who rarely finds firm footing outside of his signature poeticism and experimentalism. With a pseudo-bizarre hook by way of KZ, Kojey himself heads down a pair of differing stylistic approaches, at times diving headfirst into his fervent lyricism, and at others showing off his knack for an anthemic vocal delivery.
Expectedly too, it’s a hit, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
