It’s been a minute, Jon Waltz, but we’re glad you’re back.

 

His new, warm-weather-memories-inducing jam is titled Backstreets and brings nothing but positivity and good vibes. The last time we received a fully-produced and finalized track was back in 2016 and though the world, and with it the music scene has undoubtedly changed a lot in the time since, Jon Waltz’s track is not only boasting of a relevant sound but also has a bubblingly refreshing summer feel that ranges from a smooth R&B foundation to an off-kilter, Andre 3000 inspired breakdown.

 

Maybe it’s just the cold weather speaking, but ­Backstreets hits my emotions in all the right places and has me feeling ready for a warm, sunny day and a drive with all the windows rolled down.
