Sometimes, we all need the warm-hearted, tears-of-joy kind of track that makes us feel as though we’re floating on three-and-a-half iced Americanos. There is something so simplistically emotion-evoking about it. But simplicity is perhaps the one thing lacking from Peter CottonTale’s new single, Forever Always. 

 

The Social Experiment keyboardist pulls together what may very well be the most stacked 2018 lineup outside of a Kanye West Wyoming project. Chance the Rapper, Daniel Caesar, Rex Orange County, Madison Ryann Ward, and Yebba all somehow manage to make contributions over the track’s three-and-a-half-minute runtime, resulting in a choral type of layered complexity boasting with swooning falsettos and highlighted by an expectedly lyrical and heart wrenching Chano verse.
