With one of the most anticipated albums of the year, A Muse in Her Feelings, supposedly dropping on Friday (April 17), Toronto future R&B duo, dvsn have released yet another leading single implicating that the project is bound to live up to its hype. Where with the last single, Between Us, dvsn collaborated with Snoh Aalegra – one of the quickest climbing R&B vocalists in the world – this time, they’re pulling in the always silky vocals of Ty Dolla $ign with the timeless dancehall vibes of Buju Banton. Dangerous City is fusion, boundless exploration of R&B’s coalescence with other stylings for a post-genre audience, also hinting that A Muse in Her Feelings will be more than another perfected R&B album from dvsn but will utilize their space in music to take advantage of a wider stylistic exploration. 

 

With what is probably the last single en route to the album’s release, dvsn has stacked the cards and left the world with more than enough incredible music to listen to while we wait to see what Friday brings.
