Nigerian Afrobeat artist and Alté cornerstone, Boj makes music evoking of tropical images. When we last checked in, he had just released single and video, No Waste Time featuring fellow Alté architect, Joey B. And like then, Boj is now bringing the good vibes and a warm weather atmosphere to his latest single, Assignment. 

 

The track – a Bj the Chicago Kid’s Resumé reminiscent play on doing an assignment– is a romantically inclined single owing much of its flavor to the silky, understated vocalism that he Boj so effortlessly seems capable of delivering. And somewhere between that voice and the up-tempo, key-board and classic percussion driven beat, Assignment is just the kind of positivist love song the world needs more of.
