Sorry about the language, but BbyMutha’s newest mixtape, BbyShoe has me writing with a Chattanooga accent. In true BbyMutha fashion, the tape also has me feeling confident with myself, with the direction of Southern hip-hop, and with the future of hip-hop as a whole. There’s something so refreshing about her bold, honest, grassroots approach, and even though we’ve been fanboying over her music for a while, we promise that it’s an unbiased, objective opinion driving us towards the conclusion that BbyMutha, alongside the strong team of friends and collaborators dominating the Chattanooga scene, will continue their breakneck pace towards the top of the game.
