Girl London Soulstress, Andreya Triana Creates her own Cut of The Internet's

UK soulstress, Andreya Triana has been a figure of the Neo-Soul scene for a decade, releasing her debut project, Lost Where I Belongin 2010. And through all the years, she has remained an experimental force of powerful vocals coalescing with an affinity for pop-forward world building that has leaves her music a bridge between the two. But, for her latest, her own rendition of The Internet and KAYTRANADA’s Girl, is an exploration of her foundation.
“[It] definitely feels like going back to my roots. I worked with an amazing producer called Pablo Nouvelle and decided to really strip back the instrumental and recreate the majority of it using vocals and whatever other crazy sounds came into my head... I bloody LOVE the outcome!”
So do we.
Stripped of any frills, Triana’s cut is emotive, graceful, and grand at a scope equal, different, and altogether adjacent to its original.
